A Strong Welcome To You!
It is a great honour to welcome you to the website of Organisation of African Youth (OAYouth). Thank you so much for your support.
We work for you and for our continent. We are very determined to see the youth of Africa empowered. The Year 2012 promises a lot of activities, that will be initiated with renewed zest by OAYouth teams across Africa. In a few days this website will also change to be more interactive, with thousands of members and partners of OAYouth throughout the continent.
It is now the duty of African youth to seize the opportunity of being OAYouth and be the strong leaders that our continent begs for. We also urge governments, business, donors and NGOs to support and give guidance to youth efforts whereever they appear.
Africa demands strong ethical leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs that can bring peace through democracy, unify the diverse peoples through dialogue, and build prosperity through entrepreneurship and innovation. That foundation is so necessary to be built today by vibrant youth, as we embark on the journey of claiming the 21st century for Africa, and reclaiming the dreams of our founding fathers.
We are doing so through OAYouth, by "Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders Today."
Be back soon, we have more for you

Welcome

The Organisation of African Youth (OAYouth) is the youth platform for information exchange, forum for debate on African issues and a network of future political, corporate, academic, literary, religious and traditional leaders in all African contexts.
As the umbrella of individual young people in Africa, OAYouth is the perennial network of Africa's young people, encouraging common thinking and understanding on issues affecting the continent. Furthermore, the organisation encourages unity of non-partisan African people committed to democratic thinking and radical change in matters of governance, and to vocally oppose the culture of dictatorships in Africa.

Empowerment of Youth to Feed the Future
A strong Africa is one that boasts of economic independence.
2012 will see OAYouth's projects centred on Youth Entrepreneurship Development especially in Agriculture. This is in line with resolutions made on 12 November 2011, when OAYouth Hosted the African Youth Day Conference in South Africa.
More details on the training workshops will follow |

Organisation of African Youth is guided by the African Youth Charter.
It is within this context that we will be unrolling a series of workshop for youth on Leadership, Democracy, Human Rights, and Good Governance.
The interactive discussions, accompanied by lectures from experts, will enable African Youth to share experiences and craft an Africa that has promise for the future.
